Just admit it, people are becoming more selfish and self-centered each day and THAT has nothing to do with Facebook (or at least, not much).

That depends on how the person thinks and uses Facebook. If that person is unhappy, Facebook isn't going to make that person happier. Same goes to the happy people. They will be happy and wouldn't be less happy just because of Facebook unless... they hate technology and couldn't be bothered to configured their Facebook settings until it suits their needs... O_o

... What are you talking about? I can be in public and still feel lonely when I'm with nobody I care. Same goes with Facebook. If you add 'friends' who are not your actual friends just to show off the numbers, what do you expect?
