Suddenly encountering this problem. Not sure what the cause is but after unplugging the card reader and plug it back, the problem gone just like that.
If that doesn't work, turn off iVest Gate and iProxy before doing steps mentioned above. After that, log off and log on again your user account. Then finally, turn on iVest Gate and iProxy and make sure they are running before attempting to connect to eSPKB system again.
