I got a called from USM just now! She asked me why I didn't come for student registration even though I got the offer (and already accepted it!). I just don't know how to answer her and ended up lying.
Iori's grandpa (an anime character from Digimon) is right. If someone is reluctant to answer, don't press it or they might start to lie. I hate lying :( but I did it without a pause. I just don't know how else to answer her.
The questions:
1) Did I go to register last Saturday? No, I didn't.
2) Why didn't I register? Uh... I am working.
3) What is my job? *sweat* IT assistant.
4) Where? *OMG* Kulim
Huh, now that I wrote these, I realized that if I had just calm down for a second, I wouldn't have to lie at all. Basically I am telling the truth up until question number 4.
Real answer:
No, I didn't register... I am working right now... as my mom's IT assistant... at home which is not at Kulim.
But.. she said she is from my place too.. Um, okay, if I had just said the truth, I think I'd be more freaked out. So maybe this is all for the best?
I still hate lying though.. Why did she have to ask those question anyway? Am I going to be blacklisted?
