Temporary Solution
Method 1: Restart the LAN adapter.
- Go to Control Panel.
- If you View by: Category, you should be able to see View network status and tasks link under Network and Internet. Click on that link.
- Click on Change adapter settings.
- Right click on Local Area Connection or whatever it is named on your computer and click Disable.
- After the connection was disabled, right click on it again and click Enable.
- Wait for a few moment. Windows 7 should be able to connect to the network now.
Method 3: Restart the computer.
Try Method 1 first and then Method 2 and Method 3 for at least 2-3 times each.
If these don't work for you, visit this forum http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/28594-42-windows-unidentified-network as there are a lot more methods to try.
Either way, these are temporary solutions as it will happen again from times to times until permanent fix is taken.
Permanent Solution
I didn't know there is a permanent solution either until today.
Someone in this forum mention about the permanent fix but didn't mention about how it is done.

I haven't got time to go through with it yet so I just put this link here as bookmark to revisit later for now.
