Red Mung Bean

Red Mung Bean is known as Kacang Merah in Malay/Malaysia, right?

So am I correct if I say Red Mung Bean is usually used in Bubur Kacang Merah?


PS: Translating without real culinary experience can be confusing... It seems like Azuki/Adzuki Bean and Kidney Bean are also known as Red Bean in western and Kacang Merah in Malay/Malaysia. Not only that, the Red Mung Bean and Azuki/Adzuki Bean photos I found on the internet seems similar in appearance. And to make it even more confusing, the way Red Mung Bean and Azuki/Adzuki Bean are used in cuisines are also similar. I am still not sure if the beans I have in the fridge is Red Mung Bean or Azuki/Adzuki Bean. Can someone clarify this for me, please?
